MARLOW, UK – 9th September 2014 – Leading broadcast equipment manufacturer, TSL Products, and innovative developer of customized communication display systems, IPE Products, have announced a strategic partnership that will advance developments in control and display technology that better coordinate and organise workflow display tools for broadcasters and production companies, amongst other industries. TSL Products will also be launching IPE’s existing unique IDS (Integrated Display System) solutions to the global market.

“We’re delighted to be collaborating with IPE. Its innovations stem from its Systems Integrator roots, which has given them the insight to develop pertinent communication display solutions for practical operational challenges’” said Chris Exelby, Managing Director, TSL Products. “By combining our knowledge and resources, we can provide a more complete solution, both to our broadcast clients and those in other sectors that require scalable control and display of critical and non-critical information. The IDS product range complements our current portfolio nicely and with TSL Products’ well-established global network we are in an ideal position to introduce the IDS range to new regional and vertical markets.”

Traditionally broadcasters have used a collection of clocks, tally lamps, production timers and post-it notes to aid in the production of programmes. The IDS system is designed to bring all these functions together onto a single display or touchscreen while at the same time being able to display dynamic information with customised branding.

In addition to broadcast markets, IDS can also help non-broadcast operations/facilities to communicate better to its customers, staff and visitors. With the use of IP technology, eye-catching dynamic messages such as alerts, scrolling text, images, video streams, URLs, RSS feeds, signage and branded media can be presented on individual or multiple displays in a company’s house style.

IDS display systems can integrate into any existing or new control systems, as well as TSL Products’ flagship TallyMan control system. IDS has been implemented in such high-profile installations as BBC Broadcasting House, IMG Stockley Park, ITV, Sky and for Peel Media.

Colin Judge, Director, IPE Products, said, “This is a great opportunity to develop our display systems even further. The TSL Products brand name, impressive market growth and international reach will bring the benefits of IDS to broadcasters and non-broadcasters around the world, transforming how information is communicated and displayed across a multitude of facilities.”
