At TSL, we will strive daily to reduce any detrimental impact on the environment that our business activities create. Specifically, we will:

• Ensure sustainability is a core part of our New Product Introduction (NPI) process and a requirement for new projects to receive sign-off. In designing and developing new products and solutions, they must:
  • Reduce WEEE waste when compared to previous generations
  • Use less power when compared to previous generations
  • Use materials with a lower carbon footprint when compared to previous generations
  • Have increased useful life when compared to previous generations
  • Increase the lifespan of other equipment used at customers’ sites
  • Play a role in enabling customers to reduce their power consumption and waste
  • Regularly review our packaging to reduce waste and increase the recycled materials used.
  • Monitor and take steps to reduce power consumption at our own offices – reducing the use and intensity of air conditioning/heating and ensuring that lights and equipment are powered off whenever not in use.
  • Increase the recycling of waste at our global offices.
  • Regularly review our travel policy to ensure journeys are essential, use more sustainable methods of transport where available, and maximise what is achieved on a single trip to reduce the number of journeys made each year.

• Encourage employees to reduce their own environmental impact by introducing schemes (EV purchase support, bicycle programmes, remote-working days, lift-shares, etc.) to cut commuting trips.
