TSL Welcomes Erkan Altan as Senior Software Engineer

TSL is pleased to welcome Erkan Altan as Senior Software Engineer, reinforcing our strategic focus on innovation and interoperability.
Erkan brings more than two decades of embedded systems and software engineering experience from leading-edge projects spanning air defence, communication and broadcasting equipment, and medical devices. Most recently, he undertook a two-year professional development sabbatical in Switzerland, acquiring certifications in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Neural Networks, and Natural Language Processing, alongside German language study.
From developing BLE and LTE drivers for mobile IoT systems, Erkan’s work has consistently bridged rigorous engineering with emerging technologies. “We’re excited to have Erkan on board,” said Ian Godfrey, CTO at TSL. “His deep systems expertise makes him uniquely equipped to help us futureproof our solutions.”
Previously, Erkan spent over a decade at DNF Controls, where he helped with the development of Flex Control processors and embedded control solutions used by major broadcasters, including CNN, NBC, and FOX.
Erkan’s appointment supports TSL’s ongoing investment in customer-centric engineering that’s smart, scalable, and ready for the next wave of intelligent broadcast workflows.
